APC is convening its second technical consultation this spring. The aim of this technical consultation is to raise the profile of Emergency Contraception (EC) as part of the full community-based method mix, to share key learnings, and to develop strategies to overcome access and availability barriers. A survey of field-based implementers will be conducted to access the challenges, benefits, and logistical issues in including EC in community-based family planning programs. The survey data will be shared with participants as well as inform the discussion of the consultation.
