April 15, 2016
Goal: Strengthening Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (RMNCH) services in five districts as part of the U.S. government’s post-Ebola transition and reconstruction efforts
With the Ministry of Health and Sanitation (MOHS) and our implementing partners, Advancing Partners & Communities selected 100 health facilities that will benefit from a full package of project interventions consisting of:
Facility rehabilitation, guided by the MOHS’ approved policies and standards on infection prevention and control (IPC) and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH);
Capacity building and performance improvement for health post staff and community health workers in priority RMNCH areas, as well as support for the facility management committee and;
Provision of minor medical equipment to ensure health worker and patient safety for RMNCH services.
