Through a grant awarded under Advancing Partners & Communities (APC), the Network of Guyanese Living with and Affected by HIV/AIDS addresses the reduction of stigma and discrimination within churches and communities. The Network of Guyanese Living with and Affected by HIV/AIDS engages the local community to promote positive health, dignity, and prevention. The organization addresses social and psychosocial issues such as safe sexual practices, disclosure, family planning, parenting skills education, prevention of HIV transmission, economic development, and empowerment to enhance the well being of PLHIV and those who are affected.
