Save the Children supports the Better Care Network, an international network of organizations committed to supporting children without adequate family care around the world, in the following areas: (1) Increased country and regional level information available on children’s care through new country and regional pages on BCN’s new website; (2) Better mining and use of data from global households surveys, in particular DHS and MICS, to strengthen the evidence about changes in children’s care, and their impact on child well-being; (3) Development of Working Paper on Informal Support to Caregivers; (4) Support for BCN’s transition to greater independence as a network.
